Looks:
Diet: Strictly meat, they will also consume ash, coal, and scrape rocks to make their fire more powerful
History: Their original home was in the ashlands, now they can be also found in The Bluff. They have a strong loyalty towards their King, Queen, and royal ranks. They don't take kindly to traitors, threats to their own kind, or their kingdom. The King and Queen lead their kind with a powerful, strong, caring, yet merciless claw. They take a strong belief and loyalty to their god, Rorst. These creatures are not afraid to fight. They don't take kindly towards threats or disrespect to their royalty, kind, or kingdom.
Customs:
The First Ascension: This is when hatchlings will gather to fly for the first time. This marks a dragon's transition into adulthood. If one of the young ones are to scared, one of the adults nearby will coax them. Once the hatchling flies for the first time, it is considered an adult.
- Withholding information from the King or Queen is known as treason. For example, if you are expecting hatchlings with your mate and decide not to tell the king or queen, it's considered treason. Accounting all the young ones in the kingdom to make sure they are under the care of the kingdom is important information. The King and Queen must know of all their subjects, whether they already exist, or are soon coming. One of the consequences could be towards the parents, hatchlings....or both. Other examples are if you have a mate, conflicts with other dragons, meetings with other species, etc. In order to stay safe and loyal to your King and Queen, tell them your whereabouts, business, and stuff that you do. The King and Queen are obligated to be in your business, so don't withhold info or lie to them.
Flight to the nursery: As soon as hatchlings are born they are to be taken to the nursery to be accounted for. A nursery caretaker will take their information such as names, genders, and time of birth. They will then give this information to the king and queen. Refusing to take your newborn hatchlings to the nursery caretaker is known as treason, and will be punished...putting your newborns in danger.
First breath: When a young adult first breaths fire soon after their first flight, they will be respected and known among the dragon kingdom.
Hunt initiation: When a dragon decides to become a hunter, they are taken on a hunt with the other hunters. If they succeed they are labeled as a hunter, if they fail they may try the initiation hunt again.
